Repair Internet Explorer in Vista
Internet Explorer is integrated into Windows Vista. To repair Internet Explorer, repair the system
Click Start and type COMMAND in the Start Search field – do not press Enter .
Right-click Command Prompt from the search results list, and select Run as administrator .
Click OK if a User Account Control message opens.
At the command line prompt, type the following: SFC /SCANNOW
A window opens giving you the status of the files it found and fixed.
When done. close the window by typing EXIT .

Should be a control panel option like “ad/remove” but you want to make sure your system has enough memory installed. Vista eats up your RAM, may be better to go back to Windows XP or get a RAM upgrade.
